Everyone loves living in the suburbs...until it's time to get food past 9pm. Surprisingly, on a Friday night it was virtually impossible to get delivery or pick up. Thankfully BH came through and in a big way! We called 15-20 minutes before the kitchen closed and they prepared our food like it was the first order of the night. Love that for us. Food rundown: -Brussels sprouts -wings -steak sandwich w fries -banh mi w fries Everything was great! The steak sandwich was especially flavorful and the bread pillowy soft. The fries traveled well, too. They did forget my dressing for the wings BUT they were so good I didn't miss it. I even air fried my leftover wings today and still didn't miss it. My cousin liked her banh mi and said putting it on bao buns would take it to the next level. I went to BH years ago during a Xmas bar pop up and thought the drinks were great. Now I know the food is, too. No pics as your girl was hungry and gone off that Casa Azul Guerrero.

Great Happy Hour with nice specials and tasty food. Calamari, dry rub Lemon Pepper wings and Giant Pretzel were delicious. I'd pass on the deviled eggs next time (smoky flavor was too much, in my opinion). The staff were great and know how to hustle!

We have been to Barrow House many times over the years and some visits have been better than others. Well let me tell you, this visit was a 10/10! We went for a late lunch/early dinner and sat in the bar area. It was happy hour so we took advantage of some HH deals. We started with the spring sangria and a rum cocktail that were both deliciously refreshing. The drinks were delish and came out quickly. For starters, we had the fried cauliflower and smoked deviled eggs. The cauliflower were cut into meaty chunks that had a nice crispy batter. The deviled eggs were not your usual deviled eggs, but good nonetheless. I went with the chicken Milanese for my entire and my fiancé had the pappardelle primavera and added chicken. The chicken Milanese was perfectly fried and the arugula was dressed in a tasty vinaigrette. The pappardelle was the perfect summer pasta dish in a delicious cream sauce with juicy charred corn. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and hope those items remain on the menu. We look forward to returning soon!

I was in recently for dinner and I sat at the bar. The bartender Jamie was amazing. She was very attentive and personable. It was my first time visiting this place and she definitely made the experience memorable. I am telling all my friends about her and Barrow House.

I have a regular here. Updating my Review from years ago. They have built up a very good bourbon selection. All also very well priced. Go there and try their variety of bourbons.

I've been super delinquent on my reviews for a few weeks now but I just visited this restaurant on a Friday night (two days ago) with a friend. I need to get this out there even if it means I'll have to be there on a wait-list next time. My conscience won't let me rest without leaving a review about this place in 2023 given the quality time I enjoyed there.. First off, the warmest holiday vibes! We felt right in place, like you're at someone's home but in a welcoming way. The cozy Christmas decorations, friendly service and holiday themed drinks. For apps, we settled on the cornbread which was flavorful and went well with their salty house butter. I ordered the oyster mushroom banh mi which I was initially nervous about since this is an American restaurant and I love my bahmi from Viet spots.. But somehow they pulled it off taste wise- it was savory with just enough ratio of all the ingredients of radish, mushroom, and carrots to the hoisin glaze. It would do well being heated a bit more though. And super shout-out to the chonky fries!! My friend raved about the fries too. Finally, we were just venturing around the space post-meal and in the way back, shhh.... there's a secret photo booth in a phone booth!! We had way too much fun taking pictures there. Only thing about that is I don't know if you can delete pictures from the app/if it gives you permission to. It will send photos to your email! What a way to cap off our evening and the year.
